Trust & safety
What we will never do, how your data is handled, and how to spot the scams that target freshers hardest.

Things we will never do
Ask for your email password, or send email as you.
Submit a job application on your behalf without you reviewing and sending it.
Charge you to apply for a job, or take a cut of your salary.
Sell or share your profile with recruiters, employers or advertisers.
Promise you a job, an interview, or a specific salary.
Ask for payment outside Razorpay, or for card details over email or chat.
If anyone contacts you claiming to be FresherPilot and does any of the above, it is not us. Forward it to grievance@fresherpilot.online.
How your data is handled
Your photo never leaves your device
The candidate photo is read, cropped and resized entirely in your browser and stored locally. There is no upload endpoint for it anywhere in the product.
In demo mode, nothing is uploaded at all
Until cloud storage is configured, your profile, resume, applications and results live in your own browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data erases them.
We never auto-apply on your behalf
FresherPilot drafts the application; you review it and submit it yourself from your own email account. No employer ever receives anything from us in your name.
We do not sell or share your data with recruiters
Your profile is not a product. We do not sell, rent or share personal data with employers, recruiters, or advertisers.
AI drafts are never sent anywhere automatically
Text you enter is sent to our AI provider to generate a draft and is not used to train models. Nothing generated is transmitted onward without you clicking send.
You can erase everything, instantly
Settings → Reset all data wipes your profile, applications, mock interviews and results from this device with no recovery step and no retention on our side.
The full detail is in the privacy policy.
Spotting a job scam
Freshers are the most targeted group in India for recruitment fraud, and the scams are formulaic. Any one of these is reason to stop:
They ask you to pay for the job
Registration fees, training deposits, kit charges, security deposits. No legitimate employer charges you to be hired. This is the single most common job scam in India.
The offer arrives without a real interview
An offer letter after one WhatsApp chat is not an offer. Real hiring involves at least one conversation where they assess you.
Everything happens on WhatsApp or Telegram
Legitimate recruiters use a company email domain. A recruiter who will not email you from @company.com is not at that company.
They want your bank details or OTP early
Bank details are for payroll, after you have signed. Nobody legitimate needs an OTP from you, ever.
Urgency and secrecy
“Only 3 seats left, confirm within an hour.” Pressure exists to stop you checking. Any real offer survives you taking a day.
The pay is far above the market
₹60,000 a month for a fresher data-entry job is not a lucky break. Compare against the indicative bands in our listings.
One habit protects you from almost all of it: apply through the company's own careers site, and verify the recruiter on the company's own domain. Every sample listing here links to the employer's careers page for exactly that reason.
About the sample listings
Listings naming a real employer are illustrative examples with indicative market pay, marked as samples throughout the product. They are not live vacancies, not offers, and we have no affiliation with, endorsement from, or partnership with any company shown. Logos load from a public favicon service purely to identify the employer.
Report something
A listing that looks fraudulent, a recruiter impersonating us, or an AI output that invented something about you — all of it goes to grievance@fresherpilot.online and gets read by a person within 48 hours.
